Foxham Common

A very grainy photograph, but it clearly shows the pump house that stood near the side of road outside the Reading Room. Behind the pump is the original Wharf Cottage at the end of Lock Lane. On the left, you can see Sunnyside Cottage, Wesley House and the Wesleyan Chapel. Women and children appear to be playing in the long grass of the common. The pump house is of very similar style and construction to the pump house that still stands in Bremhill.
